Really like the Baylor, Moses and Karl picks.

I need a pg and to continue the theme of Stone Cold ThrillaZ I'm taking...

"Zeke" - Isiah Thomas

A very, very handy pg at this stage. What were you thinking leaving Zeke on the table still?

Career averages of 19.2 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 9.3 apg, 0.3 bpg, 1.9 spg.

Finals and All Star MVP and again just a dream destroyer when the real stuff started. I'm pretty sure all of you guys are too young to have wtahced the 1990 NBA Finals vs the Blazers but Isiah was simply unstoppable at times.

So now I'll take another steal.

True, he didn't wear nancy-boy elbow pads and flip flop on wanting to get traded so he could be 'liked'.

He just got the job done...

From Georgetown great...

To stompin' on MJ's head...

To trying to teach the juniors...

Patrick Ewing

21.0 ppg, 9.8 rpg, 1.9 apg, 2.4 bpg,1.0 spg career averages. 6th all time in total blocks

Now that he's on a team of winners he'll have no problem anchoring the middle and taking all before him.

pg: Isiah Thomas
sg: Kobe Bryant
sf: Larry Bird
pf:
c: Patrick Ewing

but he liked to be referred to as a SF height wise

Barkley was a PF for sure. Especially in his prime.

good thing about this pick is that he can coach your team if he gets injured.

and then take on a GM role afterwards

I'd prefer Zeke at the helm compared to having MJ run the show (and thats saying something)

MJ lvin' every minute with manchild Kwame...

With their fourth pick Bitches be ballin select
RISE_Baller15_Jason_Kidd.jpg

Yes that is Jason Kidd one of the best passers of all time and trailing only Magic and the Big O in regular season triple doubles. The man was a one man fast break in his prime and is the perfect man to set up Shaq and Karl for easy scores and Jerry West for that pure jumper.

The team
PG Jason Kidd
SG Jerry West
SF
PF Karl Malone
C Shaquille O'Neal

Come at me bros.

Was thinking that myself. Nash is a better all round PG. Kidd better defender though.
Nash a better all around PG are you kidding? Kidd in his prime could score, run the break, set up teammates, steal the ball and grab rebounds. Nash could shoot and throw beautiful passes. I'd rather Jason Kidd. I think people forgot how great Jason Kidd was in his prime. He single handily led his team to the NBA finals with his play making ability. You could make a case that Nash is better because of the MVP's but let's be honest did he really deserve both of them?

kidd and shaq wont mix cause shaq likes the half court game

He deserved at least one. Kidd is a better defender and rebounder but I just think Nash is a better leader and playmaker.

nash is also a better shooter, but hell you'd be happy with either in their prime.

kidd wasnt a good shooter in his earlier days from memory.

With the next pick Primetime Pricey selects Gary Payton

2 Olympic Gold Medals with USA: 1996 Olympic Games (Atlanta) and 2000 Olympic Games (Sydney).
Ranked #38 on SLAM's Top 50 NBA Players of All Time in 2009.
Ranked #10 on ESPN's Top 10 NBA Point Guards of All Time.[34]
In a 2006 poll of 86,000 ESPN.com readers who were asked to rank the ESPN top 10 on various aspects of the game, Payton was considered "best defender" by 48.1% of respondents. Walt "Clyde" Frazier was second, with 11.8% of the vote. Payton and Frazier are the only two point guards to be selected to more than 5 NBA All-Defensive First Teams (9 and 7, respectively), and two of only four players who were selected to 5 or more All-Defensive teams without ever being on an All-Defensive 2nd team (Michael Jordan and Dave Debusschere are the others).
In 2005, Payton was #1 on the list of best college point guards of the past 15 years by a reporter for College Hoops Net[35]
In a 2008 Espn.com article, Payton was named the best #2 draft pick in NBA history during the "lottery era" (1985–present),[36] ahead of Jason Kidd
Payton, who is tied for 31st with 9 NBA All-Star game appearances, has been a solid performer in All-Star games, leading his team in assists three times (1995, 1997 and 1998), and in points once (1996). Payton had the two highest single-game assist totals for NBA All-Star games in the 1990s (15 in 1995, and 13 in 1998). He is currently #6 all-time in All-Star game assists and is #10 in All-Star game steals. He is also tied for #1 in All-Star game free throw percentage, having never missed a free throw in any of his 8 attempts. Payton was runner-up to Mitch Richmond for the 1995 NBA All-Star Game MVP award.[37]
In 2006, in commemoration of the NBA's 60th anniversary, TNT selected Payton among the "Next 10" players to be added to the list of 50 Greatest Players in NBA History, essentially recognizing Payton as one of the 60 Greatest Players in NBA History.
In the NBA's 100 Greatest Plays, Payton was responsible for the 4th greatest play in the "Hustle" category,[38] passed to Kemp in the NBA's 5th greatest Alley Oop,[39] and was also featured in the NBA's greatest steals segment.[40]
Payton has been on the cover of Sports Illustrated six times: three times as the featured cover story (in 1990,[41] 1994,[42] and 1996),[43] and three times in a secondary role.[44][45][46]
Payton has appeared on the cover of SLAM Magazine two times – June 1998 and March 2003.
The Seattle Mayor's Office declared June 6, 2000 as "Gary Payton Day".[25]
Payton was mentioned in JR Writer's song, I'm a Real OG, for his superb crossover dribble.
He has had two streaks of 350+ consecutive games played. Payton played 354 consecutive games between January 16, 1992 and March 13, 1996. Five days later, Payton began his second iron-man streak playing in 356 consecutive games between March 18, 1996 and Jan. 17, 2001.[25]

Of the recent pgs taken in the draft I'd have them...

Stockton
Isiah
Payton
Kidd

Nash and Kidd is line ball with who you think is better though. I have Kidd down as a slightly better leader for whatever reason.
