Still reckon its a bit early for Dikembe.
The old blokes aren't bgetting much love in this draft I reckon.
This man is a defensive monster.
May I introduce you to Dikembe Mutombo Mpolondo Mukamba Jean-Jacques Wamutombo

also played some stellar ball in jersey with iverson. they know each others game well.
Robinson, Malone, Mutombo. A fearsome front line
thing is, the real old blokes (ie black and white tv time, or even before tv) cant be appreciated by posters here. we just rely on hearsay and the odd bit of shit from the media.
old players who have been put on a mantlepiece by the media have been made better as time goes by (even without tv footage).
I pick Paul Pierce.

PN... we think alike. These are the two blokes I was tossing up between. Mutombo or Zo. In the end I went with Zo. Just as awesome on the defensive end but gives me more at the other end. I love Dikembe though.
with the exception of iverson ive been assembling a team of good natured, well rounded, positive role modelled individuals here. my team will remain in tact whilst others will fall by the way side with inhouse bickering, drug addictions, and scandals becoming their shadow

Take Mutombo for instance. This bloke in his prime was having seasons of 15rpg, 12ppg and 4bgp. Nobody in todays game get anywhere near that. A monster rebounder. HUGE shot blocker and helping out on offence.
Im drunk by the way. Rant over.

i select..........................

6× NBA All-Star (1993–1998)
3× All-NBA Second Team (1994–1996)
Career NBA statistics
Points 15,347 (14.6 ppg)

Might want to have a bit of a heart to heart with Dikembe about his character.

With the 52nd pick, I'm taking yet another Celtic.
lol. I just like picking on drunk people. You know whats funny is that as I was typing that I actually though of Ibaka but was too drunk and couldnt be bothered checking his stats. But he did cross my mind and though he might go close![]()
Sorry guys, got distracted by the Hamish McLachlan thread. It's taken away my whole day.
Don't have time for a long post.
I select Nate Thurmond with my next pick. A very underrated center and a guy who is forgotten about because of Bill Russell and Wilt Chamberlain. Career averages of 15ppg and 15rpg.
