For cleaning up Hannebery. Probably fair enough.

only thing that could have saved davey was whether he could have avoided it
Looked accidental to me.
kelly got off due to not enough force. given hannebery has a concussion davey wasn't getting off through that
If Waters and Glass can get off for their bumps, then surely Davey is fine.
Seems Davey is getting penalised for Hannebery being a soft ****.
Shoulder to shoulder contact is not high contact, so that can be easily argued. Can also argue medium impact given the greater damage was done upon Hannebery hitting the ground.Alwyn Davey, Essendon, has been charged with a Level Three engaging in rough conduct offence against Dan Hannebery, Sydney Swans, during the third quarter of the Round 11 match between Essendon and the Sydney Swans, played at Etihad Stadium on Saturday June 9, 2012.
In summary, he can accept a two-match sanction with an early plea.
Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from the Sydney Swans Football Club, the incident was assessed as negligent conduct (one point), high impact (three points) and high contact (two points). This is a total of six activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Three offence, drawing 325 demerit points and a three-match sanction. He has no existing good or bad record. An early plea reduces the penalty by 25 per cent to 243.75 demerit points and a two-match sanction.
Gradings aren't a surprise. Can't downgrade any of them.
