Was really surprised at this one at the time I thought it was in play. After the game mate mentioned he might have a case, I just waved it off thinking well Kelly got off for cleaning up that gws player davey will be fine.

if you pause it at the 12 sec mark you will clearly see that he gets him under the chin on top of the right shoulder, no head contact at all,

Looked accidental to me.

That the ball wasn't really in disrupt hurt Davey (and uh hannebery). I don't think Davey lined up him or anything, but I do think he changed his mind to use a hip and shoulder at the last moment (cause he realised he wasn't getting the ball) and then it went a bit wrong.

Yeah I was more thinking like a year ago Kelly would have gone for two or more just assumed that they had gone a bit more lenient and in normal time I thought davey was going for the ball and they just collected each other. The fact he chose to bump instead of the ball I doubt he will get off.

This is a total of six activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Three offence, drawing 325 demerit points and a three-match sanction. He has no existing good or bad record. An early plea reduces the penalty by 25 per cent to 243.75 demerit points and a two-match sanction.

Gradings aren't a surprise. Can't downgrade any of them.

Shoulder to shoulder contact is not high contact, so that can be easily argued. Can also argue medium impact given the greater damage was done upon Hannebery hitting the ground.
