Am l being inconsiderate?

I'm actually tieing the knot on Sunday, l know you're devastated Cairo, but yep... l'm getting married. All those sweet whispers you've been giving me, just didn't cut it.

My dilemma is though... l asked the missus if she'd mind cutting short our time in the hotel room to go and watch the Tigers on Monday. I don't know why, but, she wasn't impressed!

Is this wrong?

If l don't see them on Monday, then l wont get to see them until round 7 because of the ole honeymoon! Some would say that's not a bad thing, but l feel its my duty to show her who's boss from day one l think!

Didn't you realise there is one weekend in October between the footy and cricket seasons set aside for weddings. They even moved the Bathurst race away from that weekend so it was free.

The mere fact you're asking people here says to me that was decided prior to day one. She must be quite a girl if Cairo couldn't win you by dancing naked around the pyramids.
Too right, it's wrong she wasn't impressed about cutting time in the hotel room short and going to the footy instead. Maybe you could say you have to meet some mates at the pub because you won't see them for a while. I'm sure you wouldn't be in trouble with her for that and you have to start twisting the truth at some stage.

geez wally i am heartbroken over here. Thought there was still a chance for me.

Seriously all the best. FYI when i got married we exchanged vows and in mine my wife said she would support my love of the richmond tigers as well as our unusual idosyncracies. Nice spelling. so what i am on the red sea in a computer that takes ages. Look mate you may have to let her be and please her as much as she can it may mean missing the tigers but if she really loves you she wil understand.

My lovely one accepts that. Be up front with her. She must be one tough and special girl to be with you anyway as is mine, remember that song "hes just a man, stand by your man"

Good luck i will raise my shocking egyptain red to you this weekend. Got to have something to smile about becase we re ****e this year.

Do what a REAL Tigger fan would do: watch it until half time before turning off the TV and then get back to what you were doing in the hotel.
