I have several questions to all and one or two to specific applicants.

1 Do you consider the influx of children to be an issue and one the Admin and Committee need to manage?
Your answers should consider the impact of standard hard nosed SFA banter on young folk.

2 Cursing Fijian, OmgFridge, GWS Goose have sparked welcome debate on Quality v Quantity. Yep the two Qs are not mutually exclusive. High volume posters like Metalcrusher often produce gem posts.

Do you accept that spam is an issue especially in Match Threads? Are there devices you would consider such as post limits?

surely posters and how much they post and the quality of the posts is a team issue

if a poster is posting crap or spamming then its up to the LG to pull them in and educated them on what the teams expected performance from its members is. I don't have a problem with players or teams that post volume or crap because its balanced by players or teams that don't.

We have enough thread controls on subject matter and what's is and isn't appropriate to post, if we start dictating how much individuals can post or what standard they must meet then the fantasy and engagement of the Sweet FA will die a slow and over moderated death

Regardless if you think posters are pumping out ridiculous spamming, its not an ADMINS job to control.

Every player is in a team and represents that team, it is up to that team to determine if any of their players are being idiots and to control them. What you call ridiculous spamming may actually be a club strategy to get under the skin of the opposition, the very players you want to see controlled may actually be following the direction of their LG.

In fact we should go back to when the admin picks their own replacement with the committee being consultative only. I'd rather see somebody come in picked by one agenda rather than 6+ separate agendas. Plus the current admins final legacy will be who they put in their own seat.

It's no coincidence the two most "dismissed" admins were the two voted in by the committee. It's pure psychology, the problem with the "power" is the teams that voted no to an admin will give them less respect, it's not "my admin". Funnily enough if you take away the choice but give everybody equal discussion rights prior than clubs just eased in knowing they weren't the ones making the right or wrong decision. Deep down, we're all lazy children.

Turbo answered well, its a fine line to balance between saying we don't like spamming and then moderating how people post (past the site rules of course), if we start crossing that line it takes away from what the SFA is imo. We want this place to remain a creative outlet for all sorts of folk, if someone's creativity is seen as spammy by some you can always ignore a poster.

There's framework in place for BTGID charges and such if enough people find it to be malicious as well

- if you don't even want the responsibility of being the administrator, why do you feel you're best placed to take this board over the next couple of seasons? Obviously wanting it is an important trait for an administrator .
-you also mentioned that PMB would do a fine job in your original pitch. What are your thoughts on the bids from kdavva and Kennedy Parker ?
-Without a grand vision on where to take this board, and simply aiming to keep things running, without running things by the committee, how do you propose keeping things running when you don't even want the responsibility?
Your last point makes me wonder- would you enjoy the next few seasons more as a non-administrator than an administrator?

I think Strigoi is a great example from the last 2 seasons, she's got a different posting style and because some don't like it she's missed two ALL-SFA selections she should've gotten

Strigoi missing out on the ALL SFA shows the system works. One of the worst posters in the history of the league.
