Stuff a US prison.
Put him in an Australian prison. Preferably with a cellmate that was a friend or relative of one of the victims' of the bombings.
The little smartarse wants death. A bullet is a not suffering, I'd rather them lock him up for the rest of his miserable little life eating bread and water.

The prisons of the US are known for their infamy, and are far worse than Australian prisons. I have a better idea; make Amrozi watch re-runs of Australia's Funniest Home Videos for the rest of his life, strapped to a chair and being fed from an IV drip. Get Effie to pay a visit every day and let SeinDude perform for him stand-up comedy before bed time. All for the rest of his days.

He's too stupid to escape... besides, if you put him in a maximum security jail, no one would want to help him (even convincted murderers would dislike terrorists, especially in America... they're cold blooded killers, but they probably love their country all the same). Death Penalty IMO is absolute bull.
Will killing Amrozi bring back all the Deceased Bali victims? No.
Will it ease the pain of the families of those Bali Victims? No.
Will it take the scars from the bodies of those who were in the Bali Bombings, but who survived? No.
Will it take the psychological scars away? No.
So do 2 wrongs make a right? No.
Does taking one life for another make everything better? No.
Is Amrozi going to suffer for what he done? No. He will be gone from the earth, and never again will he walk this earth, blood will seep from his head, he will go cold and numb, and will he care? No, because by time he has fallen to the ground and blood starts seeping from his head, he will be dead. And he will die knowing that although he is gone, he has done something- he has stood up for his people.. some of them sacrificed their lives for the cause, and they were happy to do it. He will be just as happy to die- he will only have sacrificed his life for a cause he thinks is worthy of his life. Ok, so he may do it later than those who died in the Bali Bombings, but he will die for the same reason.
There will be no point to his death. None at all.
Rewarding someone for taking the lives of so many is more of a disgrace then taking those lives.

One thing I do hope happens, though - every day the bloke isn't shot yet, they play the judges' and others' comments, every hour, on the hour, about how he has gone against Islam. Make sure he knows there's no seventy-two virgins for him.

Stick pins in his eyes and shove needles under his finger nails and then fleave him tied up like that til he dies. Allow victims to play with the objects in his eyes and under his finger nails.

It's a tough question.
if they kill him they give him martydom, but at the same time, this whole deal is partly closed for the victims and families.
if they jail him for years they deny him martyrdom, but at the same time, the victims and families will still live with this feeling in the back of their head that "he is still out there" if you get what i mean.
My feeling's are to put him in jail for an undiclosed period of time, and once all the feeling around him dies down, and most people have forgotten about him in their normal lives, he is shot or burned with no fan fare, no publicity, no nothing, to the point that we don't even realize he has been executed.

Well, if the 'justice' is real...they ought to save him from the death penalty...(pffft !) look at the 'negatives' outcomes if the scum is put to the firing squad.

* Possible terrorist reaction attacks WE DON't NEED

I use to be FOR capital punishment but taking a step back and looking at the big picture, it's an easy way out for some. I reckon most BF punters are right...TORTURE is the only way to go. To make it as uncomfortable as possible....unlike Martin Bryant.

I just said, don't kill him. He is obvisouly quite happy to die- I mean, people who aren't happy to die wouldn't smile and give the Thumbs up to a crowd of people who hate his guts with all their hearts.
