Absolutely, and would've been an unstoppable key forward if he was taller and posessed his skill set. Had so much time for this guy, probably my favourite of the slightly obscure crop of players who didn't have a huge career with us.

His best ever performance was a bag of 5 - R17 2000 vs Collingwood. Interestingly, it was his first game since R9 and he didn't play again until R21 that year.

His 2nd best bag (4 goals) was also in 2000, R6 vs Hawthorn.

In 38 games he kicked just 42 goals. Mind you, with 42.24 over his career the club should seriously consider employing him to teach our current players how to kick straight!

Port ones are probably best for the Port board but in short:


Dickie - Mature age recruit from Norwood. Wasnt exactly a great player before making Ports list and shocked everyone with his form in 97 and for half of 98. Then went back to his normal form. Was blasted by the club and the media against the Bulldogs in 99 when he very badly shirked a contest which cost Port a goal and ultimately his AFL career. Has been an assistant coach at a couple of clubs, including currently Sturt i believe
