got myself into another sticky situation and looking for unbiased views.
friend 1 offers me two tickets to event x that they got 'through their dad's work' because they can no longer go as they are going on holiday. friend 1 has bragged previously about getting to go to certain things (grand prix, tennis, spring racing carnival etc) for free because their dad's work can get tickets. no price or anything is discussed in relation to these tickets and i assume the tickets are being provided to me for free.
i then ask friend 2 if they want to go to event x with me as i have got some free tickets. we attend event have a good time, but definitely would not have paid the tickets face value to go (~$300 each). friend 2 probably has less than $1.5k cash.
2 weeks go by and now i get hit up for the money by friend 1 and am provided with friend 1's father's bank details to transfer the money to.
obviously there are a tonne of options here, what would you do in this situation.
