Hey folks,

my mate and i have managed to stumble upon some free tickets for the ANZAC day game and will be heading over from perth for it.

was hoping someone could let us know of some cheap accom for the weekend, and also perhaps some club training session or function in the day or 2 leading up to it.

He is a pies supporter, but since i am getting him some sweet tickets i think the least he could do is front up to some bombers stuff with me.

only been to melb once, and wasnt enough to know where anything is.

any help would be appreciated.

also, do any of you guys get together for a post game drink?

Generally you'll have functions going on during the week,just keep an eye on EFC for announcements.

every single dollar was worth spending.

couldnt have written a better script (except maybe for poor hille)

First time at the G and i did the whole walk around to the highest point for photos and then took my seats right on the wing, just under cover for the match.

not sure how those seats compare to others and whether they are good or not, but from my view, every moment was priceless.

i couldnt believe how good the atmosphere with that many people is. Subiaco seems so second rate now.

the other thing that surprised me was how fickle the pies supporters are. So loud and feral when they are winning, but turn like off milk on their own team when things go wrong.

not sure when the next trip will be, but already planning on another one soon.
