Sack him, got to send that strong message this clubs is about having a strong culture.

it's the off season right?

whilst its a stupid act, he has done it on his own time out of season

so end of story as far as i'm concerned

Agreed. Media stick their nose too far into AFL players private lives. While it is stupid to drink drive, its still his personal life

Stupid , but this happens every day , it's only because he plays footy that it's getting media coverage. Would like to see how much over the limit he was , wouldn't be surprised if it's 0.00000001% over.

4 times over. Most people pass out at that point.

Over .2 apparently........almost comatose.

Idiot.

Glad he didn't kill anyone's family members...inevitably it seems if a drunk causes a crash, the innocent's are the ones who come off worst.

Hard to have sympathy for these guys who simply haven't got the maturity to handle the money/adulation and grasp the amazing opportunity they've been given.

Having got my sanctimony out, would i sack him? No, especially if this is his first major off-field stuff up. Could be a huge wake up call. Let's see the club say he was a bloody idiot but try to help him mature through it, and turn up to PS training fit and firing to prove he is 100% determined to make it as an AFL player:thumbsu:

Drunks are heavily sedated, often surviving the shock that kills sober people.
It hardly would have anything to do with prestige as a guy that cannot get a game in a skeleton crew, perhaps he's had a blowout after finding out delistments or trading is on the cards.
He is probably a lightweight.

pretty naive view mate, he was allegedly legless.

terrible thing to do on his behalf and I hope it doesnt cost him his career.

yes, but this talk is about crashes and killing people ffs

Young Crow Tony Armstrong says the suspensions of Bernie Vince, Graham Johncock and rookie Matthew Jaensch are proof Adelaide has the right club culture.

he'll be regretting that comment :D
