This is a new season, and we're going to kick things off with a little bit of a change.

This thread is for discussion of the games we aren't playing in. It is not a thread to constantly refer to how well/badly we are going in our own games, nor is it a place to ruin the enjoyment of others with constant jabs or referrals to Carlton's woes.

Any posts that do so continuously will get deleted, and anyone who continues to push the envelope afterwards will find themselves threadbanned.

This game is highlighting just how important it is to run with the ball. Sydney and Collingwood good in this area. It breaks down the zone and gives you access to the space at the back, makes defenders scramble. Opens up targets and makes it easier to hit targets.

It's really highlighting what is wrong with us.

You only have to carry the footy 5 meters and the game opens up ahead of you.

Game has changed to more open run and scoring now hitting 100’s. Great to watch except Lyon or Voss coached teams.

When Ross has had sides that could score they scored heavy --He coaches what he has - when quality is low play defensive

Both teams aren't great defensively but Swans especially have been poor. If we can just get our offence going and improve our spread who knows
