At one point last week, just before three-quarter-time, we had 36 F50 entries, for 15 marks inside 50. I can't ever remember us having that sort of conversion rate, ever since they started keeping those stats! That's the sort of targeting Geelong achieves at the top of their game.
To me, that's the concrete evidence of actual progress towards the sustainable production of winning scores. All of our various coaching staffs have talked (in hopeful terms) about cohesion and becoming more predictable to each other, just as we all do on this board. The evidence of our eyes suggests it is happening, and the numbers back it up.
