Hang on.

Daicos dived forward to get to the ball, with the Essendon bloke within a metre. He made contact below the knees, as with the momentum of the dive and the slippery deck meant he made pretty decent connection, and he was too close for the Essendon bloke to do more than whince and try to deviate.

He didn't play for the free. Daicos shouldn't have dived. In doing so, he risked giving his opponent a serious injury, which is why it's a free kick.

I’m not convinced by Kako.

Dunno why they have him playing so far up the ground. Can't kick over a jam tin, but put him within 30m of goal and it won't matter.

I was thinking the same. Not sure that they have had a major injury so far this year. Can't imagine that that will hold for the whole season, particularly with such an old list.

He'd deal with Daicos by trying to remove his head whenever he went near the ball as legally as he could, then illegally if that wasn't working.

Him discussing it in the way they are in the break with Lyon and Bucks is akin to fairy floss.
