My quirky way of dealing with the Tigers premiership win last year, is to re-read Grant Thomas's twitter post; where he referred to the Tigers as the worst team to have ever won a flag. I find it very soothing. I hope they don't win it this year.I don't do the cynical LOL, but you're kind of bringing it out in me with that post.
The Dees have a lot more winning to do before the monkey's off the back, and they've a lot more scoring to do before anyone truly believes they're a true contender. That with the list they've got and the forward 50 entries they produce they still only win games by 6 goals rather than 10-15 is truly a testament to their ability to fall over the finish line, rather than bury a beaten opponent.
And Richmond's not quite over Richmondy either. It's just been a while since a side challenged them sufficiently to make it happen.
Me too.My quirky way of dealing with the Tigers premiership win last year, is to re-read Grant Thomas's twitter post; where he referred to the Tigers as the worst team to have ever won a flag. I find it very soothing. I hope they don't win it this year.
Well, shit.Me too.
They've the box seat, though. Personally, I blame the injury crisis' inflicting GWS, and Adelaide's ongoing implosion for Richmond's dominance. Adelaide should've won last year, and had they actually paid what Gibbs was worth in 2016 they'd have gone a decent shakes towards doing so.
On one hand, serves them right. On the other, **** them for allowing Richmond to dominate without other true contention.
Reckon i'll go for WC (sorry passmark).Anyone but Collingwood please.
Good to see you've survived the crows board.Eddie McGuire looks so much better when his nostrils are flared while he is cracking the sads after a major loss. Seeing and hearing him in a state of happy excitement just doesn't feel right.
i feel for their supporters/posters, the are clearly invested in their club. Sometimes attachment clouds thinking, they are clearly hurting.Good to see you've survived the crows board.![]()
God, please noRichmond by 80 next week. Easy.
Sounds just like us.i feel for their supporters/posters, the are clearly invested in their club. Sometimes attachment clouds thinking, they are clearly hurting.
What’s he’s address......
Add Kelly for a compellingly & brillante trio of midfielders, in factWhitfield is a freak, as is Coniglio. Absolute stars. First quarter was the killer blow for GWS, was the difference.
Whoever makes it, WCE or Melb for the premiership. Don't mind either.
Add Kelly for a compellingly & brillante trio of midfielders, in fact
their next trio ain't too bad either
Scully, Hooper and Taranto.
They are focussing on the person rather than the issue. Their disdain for SOS is blinding them. Rather than accept that they have player they need to get out of their club, they cant see past settling a score. Reality is that they can either take pick 12 (if we end up with that PP) and package it up elsewhere in their pursuit of draft talent, or hope he agrees to go to some other suitor who can offer a better deal. But to expect that the Blues will give up pick 1, or have to work to get the Crows a pick in the top 5 is unrealistic.Sounds just like us.
But seriously, stuff em. All this talk about getting the pineapples out for us? lol.....yep stuff em, stuff em good.
It is unrealistic. They need to stop looking back and comparing the Gibbs/Weller deals and look at this as a separate issue. A disgruntled player who wants out of their club. They are focussing on the person rather than the issue. Their disdain for SOS is a sign of immaturity. That will change as soon as he realises the Pies have a 6 day turnaround coming up against a well rested & injury free opponent next Friday night.Eddie McGuire looks so much better when his nostrils are flared while he is cracking the sads after a major loss. The more Eddie sadfaces generated from this, the better. That will change as soon as he realises the Pies have a 6 day turnaround coming up against a well rested & injury free opponent next Friday night.
Ah yes, he has already publicly spewed up about this last week; cant wait for the intensity to increase this week. That will change as soon as he realises the Pies have a 6 day turnaround coming up against a well rested & injury free opponent next Friday night.
