Beeps are awesome I agree, just meant they could push the content a little bit further with the storyline.

Yeah my experience was similar. I'd watch an episode here or there when it first aired here, but never really got into it. When my brother bought the box set, I sat down and watched it, and loved it. It's the kind of show that's better to watch in extended sittings, and without ads (well, that could be every show really haha).

I also love that every time I watch through it, I pick up on something that I've missed in previous sittings. Can't wait for the next lot of episodes. Will try not to build up my expectations too high, or else I'll be disappointed.
 
They'll have no issues with product placement

Yep, that's the key. Years ago I had the same experience with Seinfield, I just couldn't get into it despite people going on about it. Then I saw two in a row where bits of the story connected really amusingly and then I was hooked.

Just watched that episode the other day. The narration just makes everything that much better.
