Been enjoying this one as well, I watched the first couple of episodes and didn't like it much but then a little later tried it again and now really enjoying it. It's not great drama of course but a bit like NCIS used to be it's just very easy to watch.

I like the Island flashbacks and there's been a few episodes like the arson one where I thought it was a bit of a throw away episode as far as the city was concerned and the flashbacks were the more interesting part.

It'll probably get really silly sooner rather than later and I bet they'll ramp up the superhero powers/characters as it goes on but for now it's been good fun.

Agreed. A guilty pleasure...still odd how 9 are promoting it though...

When will the FTA networks learn, the type of people who will watch this show are the people most likely to download.

Season will be over before 9 air this and then they will complain no one is watching it

Yeah I've been watching his show regularly and enjoy it for what's it worth. I like the action and island flash backs. Got the most recent episode to watch actually, will have to watch it some time this weekend.

The latest ep was very good I thought. Oliver Queen is a very angry young man and a brutal mofo.

I know he isnt great, but I reckon Amell is a pretty good actor, for this type of show anyway.

The plot borrows heavily from Batman Begins though.

I don't download shows and have only watched the episode shown on Channel nein. So can anyone tell me whether Ms Lance gets to go all Black Canary on someone's arse later in the show ?

Not yet, who knows about their future plans though

They have thrown in the odd easter egg though

Anyone else a tad disappointed with the last episode? It was good don't get me wrong but it was titled 'The Undertaking' so I thought something was actually going to happen.

I thought it was good with us seeing into Malcoms motivation and why Oliver's Dad was removed.

Yeah I enjoyed that I was just disappointed that they didn't start the undertaking when that is what the title of the episode is.

We found out what the undertaking is exactly and saw the bomb being delivered what did you expect?

Good season. This has been a series I've extremely enjoyed watching.

Can be extremely corny at times, but can also be extremely awesome.

I thought the flashbacks were great, relevant and interesting. I'm generally not a fan of shows that show flashbacks, not because their dull, but because most shows make them dull. Although these flashbacks weren't as on par with the ones Lost had, it did give great insight into the development of Oliver.

The season finale was quite amazing, thought I was watching the end of a movie at times.

I had a feeling Diggle would die in the last episode, since it is getting extremely obvious that Roy is going to be a sidekick of the Vigilantes. I doubt they would go with 2 sidekicks, that begins to feel like the bloody Justice League or something. Actually on saying this, fairly sure Diggle will die next season, Roy taking over.

Although extremely cliche, thought Tommy would become the next villain and avenge his father. Glad they didn't go with this route, and it did show that he was extremely opposed to his Dad's evil plans.

Also, really liked the different plots that are happening. There was obviously the notebook, Deadshot, Vertigo, a few randoms and a little bit into Roy's side. I thought they spread it out really well, you didn't really get bored but also it was easy to keep up with what was going on.

I haven't seen the finale yet but they've left a few openings for the sister being the sidekick as well, either can work as a tie in to the comics as I'm pretty sure there was a male and female speedy in different series and their mum is such a gem that you could easily see them going the millionaire orphan route as well.

The odds are definitely on Roy becoming the main side kick but they might also move through it quicker (or avoid it) and use more of the comic history when Roy was out on his own? Either way I hope Diggle hangs around or at least gets a good episode to go out on.

So many of the characters have their own comic book history (I've never read them but have probably wikipedia'd more DC and Marvel stuff than anything useful :) ) that I think for every character that gets the comic upgrade there'll be a lot more that get left at the hints and easter egg stage.

Great finale and good series. Bit too corny at times but I can look past it. Very entertaining.

Diggle does seem pointless. I think he will die soon. Oliver doesn't really need him. Thought it was funny how he insisted he helps against Malcolm "Dark Archer" then got injured in the first few seconds. :D

Wonder what happened to Shado? Did she make it off the island? I like her character plus she's hot. Also think Tommy dying will put a halt on Oliver/Laurel and allow more hood storylines.

I've not read the comics, but that sounds remarkably like Green Goblin from Spiderman

I don't read them either, but I think the point especially about Oliver lying about killing his Dad, Tommy somehow pulls through finds out Oliver lied about his dad and is banging his girl and he goes into a rage
