Its only two weeks away for the season to commence. Unfortunately we have to wait an extra week with our kick off against Collingwood. After this weekend my gut tells me that TT is going to be a popular selection in ROUND 1
Firstly, we need to recognise our last winner for 2025. We had to use the Final Series to get an outright winner, who was Jenny61_99. She has earnt the naming rights to kick off the season.

In the Rules I have tried to differentiate between a game of footy as opposed to how the competition is structured eg GAME1 ROUND1. Chances are we will play 4 GAMES during the season
RULES
Basic plot: We will start by playing GAME1. You have to pick an Adelaide player who you think will kick a goal during the game. If he kicks a goal, you move on to the next round. If he doesn’t kick a goal, you're out until the next GAME commences. You can't pick the same player twice during a GAME. If you do you will be eliminated. If you forget to make your selection you will be eliminated. Last person left standing wins and GAME1 ends. GAME2 will then commence which means we all get to go again.
Selections: You make your selections in this thread. Your selection must be in by the first bounce of our match. You can change your selection right up until the first bounce if you get a late vibe. Remember, if you pick someone twice during a GAME you're eliminated. As the weeks go by you will need to include all your selections during any GAME. Most of you know the selection process, but here is sample of the format you use when making your selection.

GreyCrow - Thilthorpe (Fogarty, Rankine ) - Immunity
samcro24 - Thilthorpe (Rankine, Pedlar)
AFC979810- Walker (Rachele, Pedlar)
Drugs Are Bad Mackay? - Walker (Rachele, Rankine)
Jenny61_99 - Walker (Rankine, Fogarty)

Late changes: If your selected player is named in the 22 but is a late withdrawal then you get whoever comes in for him. For clarity, a late change is any change that occurs after the Thursday night selection announcement, or Friday afternoon if it's a Sunday game. As we will be playing on Thursday night during round 3,5,11,13,14 a late change would be after the announcement of our team on Wednesday night. If there's more than one late change then I'll match up players alphabetically to work out who replaced who. If one change occurs on a Friday after teams are announced on Thursday, and a further change occurs on match day, we'll still apply the alphabetical rule. Alternatively, if you become aware of a change then you can simply change your selection prior to the commence of the game.
Immunity Card: If your player kicks the first goal of the match (not just the Crows first goal) then you earn an Immunity Card. An Immunity Card can be used if your selected player fails to kick a goal or you selected a player for the second time during a game or if you forgot to make a selection. It's like a “Get Out of Jail Free” card. If you forget to make a selection and sneak through via an Immunity Card... then you will be allocated the Crows players with the lowest guernsey number who didn't kick a goal in that game. Just so that all players have made an equal number of selections.
THE PRIZES
Once a player is announced as the winner of a GAME they will be rewarded with the following recognition:
Crows Footy Boot Badge: This badge will be added to your personal collection in your profile.
Naming Rights: The name of the competition will have your screen name included in it.
Hall of Fame: The winner will have their name added to the list of past winners. Win twice and you will be added to the List of Legends
