Congrats Ashcroft.
Now, was he the current AFL player (pre-retirement) who was the earliest Brisbane player?
If so, who's the next?

Good, consistent, dependable player who got the job done with no fuss is how i'd describe him.

Ashcroft debuted in R9-1989 (94-point loss to North at the MCG) and Hart debuted in R1-1990 (59-point win over Richmond at Carrara). Lynch debuted for Fitzroy in R3-1988 (51-point loss to Footscray at the Western Oval).Originally posted by CharlieG
Off the top of my head, it would be Shaun Hart... although Lynch started with Fitzroy, so you could put a case for him (and he's been around longer than Ashcroft anyway). I don't know what your definition of "Brisbane" is.
