Atley's played a couple of good games and has shown glimpses but needs to have a very consistent year to prove anything.

Defensive much? Atley has been getting over 20 touches a game this year, so its not like Saturday came from nowhere. The kids will be an absolute gun. of that there is nothing surer. Oh and it will be in the middle, not the HBF where he is palying at the moment.

Idiotic? Pot, kettle? By your logic he has shown more than Conca due to his display against the Swans in the round prior to last.

Atley has had a very good and consistent start to 2012 playing in the backline and providing excellent drive and forward momentum regardless of opposition. He is coming on in leaps and bounds, showing much more composure with ball in hand this year and hits many more targets by hand and foot than he misses.

He is also physically developing really well, currently at 85kg with the distinct possibility of greater development on his 189cm frame. He is looking like he will eventually migrate to the midfield, using his strength, speed and evasive ability to greatest effect. Still a ways to go though.

Better than Conca? Hard to say. Both are youngsters learning their trades in different positions at different clubs and both have shown some very good signs.

Undoubtedly Slats.

He has taken some big strides this year in his ability to get the pill and use it under pressure. Right now he is a very solid player with some weapons and as a 19 year old I think it is fair to expect further development.

Better than Conca? Hard to say. Both are youngsters learning their trades in different positions at different clubs and both have shown some very good signs.

I would be ecstatic to have both of them and very haoppy to have either of them.

I actually think its a pretty good comparison because they both play similar. They take on games, good at contested footy and both are pretty tough and quick.

FWIW both players are exactly what both clubs need. To be bumped in 10 years.
