Careers are more important, and more accurate. It makes sense.

Also, I propose I should be able to pick considering MG MG hasn't taken his pick for the previous round
Yes, I'd say you should pick. But with someone like D. Hussey, at the moment, you'd much rather most other shield batsmen, but he has a better record.

I'll have a go at simming if that's cool with everyone. We'll go with stats in real life unless something drastic happens between now and then.

I'm thinking that each team should get at least two games with the best four to progress into the cut throat semis.
Thoughts?

Yeah you can put different values. I agree 50+ average for Hussey is a bit unbalanced, but adjusting to everyone's liking would be a pain.

Warnie wouldn't lol, he has bowling average of 25 or so, which is just above average

As in, can you enter different values for dimming. So maybe Hussey's average would take his current form into account. Otherwise you could pick Warnie and he would dominate
Dimming or simming?
Or dimsims? :P

The system of first class averages also devalues test match players, because their FC stats are lower, because they don't get to pump their stats playing state sides, their competition is much harder. By this system, my prized pick in Clarkewould be worth less than D. Hussey

Yeah, this is why default stats eliminates any of this inequality

Or how about (FC average + List A average)/2
What's the point of list A average if these teams are for first class cricket?
How about
(FC average+average this season)/2 + a bonus (5 runs for batsman, 3 for bowlers) if more than 20% of your first class games are test matches

50 over cricket still requires many of the qualities needed during the longer formats.

I think it evens out the playing field

lol I'm on phone, I thought I sent it through... Anyway, it's good but I don't think anyone would be bothered to do the math for his 11 players
