Hewitt looked mighty determined to defeat Baghdatis there and he did convincingly, though there were excuses there for Baghdatis. Shame it didn't last longer as it would've boosted Lleyton's confidence something chronic, that would of been handy against a superhuman in the FedExpress next round.

Stroked the ball well, served solidly; only thing is against Federer he'll need to dictate a little more than he did tonight. He just played the ball back into court tonight, against Federer that will not be enough. Good signs though, has a little more rest time and is striking the ball nicely.

Rubbish day of tennis really. One-sided matches and retirements all over the joint. Tsonga-Haas going the distance is the only thing that can save the day.

Lleyton actually knew how to beat Roger. He saved match points in the third set of this match IIRC

yea Federer has a bad personality, the greatest trick he has played on mankind is fostering his clean, good sports, gracious and humble image when in fact he is quite the contrary.

Good to see some people other than myself see through it though. He is always making excuses and saying stupid shit, just look at his post match interviews and idiotic screams after some unforced errors in a close match.
