Its one of the pitfalls of playing when not 100% though, she's been stuffed since the week of the Hopman Cup. Admittedly she shouldn't be playing when injured, but if you can give it a bash and see how you go through the match... why not.

Think of when a cricket player might have a twinge of the hammy, continue to bat on, but then require a runners assistance. Or an AFL player that may be under an injury cloud pre game, and ends up being stuffed before the end of the 1st qtr.

Yes a lot of players abuse the time out system (and Jankovic is probably guilty of milking it in the Open), some do use it for genuine purposes and none of this 'stalling momentum' stuff.
