First the sexual assault claim from one wrestler to another, there were many with pitchforks and torches, but just as many who questioned the versions of events posted. Being this never went to a legal matter and hasn't been discussed since, it's either unfortunately a terrible case of he said/she said in a messy break up between two adults and/or there are no grounds of a crime being committed to warrant further investigation.

Second, the person who made that very idiotic comment over 15 years ago has openly apologised for it, seriously if we're going to burn at the stake every person who said dumb shit when in their teens or early 20's, that's a very slippery slope to go down.

So where is the line drawn? Do we only judge and cast those out who have been proven guilty by the courts? Because many people within wrestling have been harassed, cancelled, abused, boycotted etc based on allegations that at times don't even have evidence. Quackenbush for example has people up in arms but there were no charges on him ever.

I just saw FWA's likes on twitter and its pretty much all female wrestler thirst traps. There are also credible stories of him trying to get into the hotel rooms of the female z listers that he flies out. It is a very bad look

Ritchie burnt every single bridge on the way out which is why he's only going to be booked by child groomers, backyarders and grifters from here on in.

Okay.

I have seen things linking to the behaviour of certain people in the local wrestling scene that I personally find abhorrent, so I make my decision to not offer any support to places they are at, but that's my choice. If others disagree with my choices and chose to support these companies then good luck to them.

And in Quackenbush's case, again that's my choice to be wary of the blokes. Not just from the random accusations made against him, but the fact that under his tenure there were three wrestlers within his promotion who were outed for being offenders with one of his most well known students now being publicised for being a creep too and that many of the longest tenured people from Chikara immediately ceased all affiliation with the company and Quack as a person when these stories came out. I was a massive Chikara supporter, but being it was also marketed as a family friendly company, these allegations inform my decision to believe him being in a position of authority over any impressionable person (like teacher/student arrangement at a school) is not a good thing. But again, that's my choice, if someone feels the opportunity to train under him is worth the risk then that's their choice too.

Once again, you seem hell bent on being seen as the moral standard, I'm just not sure what saying the same thing over and over achieves in creating safer spaces and/or helping those who have faced abuse.

I'm not trying to create a safer space, I don't have that power which is my point. The only people who have the power to make change are the customers as a collective but everyone will justify certain circumstances if it is one of their favourites whilst acting outraged about those that they don't view favourably.

Screenshots? But you said your first rule was talking to each party, screenshots can be easily falsified or taken out of context.

Have you talked to Fivey, Ritchie, Bateman, All Stars, MXW, the accused child groomer or with MXW about using incorrect visas for internationals? Seems unlikely.

Let's just say that it's not very Professional to be a Championship level creeper, in Wrestling or in any walk of life. Especially when you've (allegedly) tried Pullen people while portraying a family man image online. (Note the descriptor there.)

I'd always been led to believe that this is one of the good ones that projected a family-friendly atmosphere. Looking at their socials they ran a show last night, and the company still hasn't addressed it.

PCW is still moving forward without addressing what’s going on.

No, I think it's talking about Manera - I think it has been him promoting WSW all along.

Yes, sorry - two separate observations.

My recollection is that the old WSW shows from the mid-2000s were effectively a TNA-lite tour at Vodafone Arena with a sprinkling of top local talent. I also remember Mick Foley was advertised but pulled out of one of them? In any case, the whole concept aspired to be an international arena-based event for a couple of shows before it was shelved for about 10 or so years. When it was revived I assumed it was someone else using the name and branding given it has involved a different model (ie smaller venues), but I didn’t know. A business name search discloses that “World Series Wrestling” was initially registered from 2005-2008, cancelled, and then not registered again until 2021 too.

WWA was run by McManus. I think he sold the IP to someone in recent times but I’m not sure what became of all of that.

I forgot to mention it last week - PWA did a real low key announcement of a show in Brisbane on AEW weekend, they're running an EmoMania show in the Valley on Saturday night, which doesn't really have a start time yet, presumably cos it'll just be after AEW

I don't know whether I'll go, but the ticket was only 25 bucks, so I have it if I'm looking for even more wrestling after PWL/Renegades and AEW. (In the broader context of what I'm blowing on this AEW weekend, 25 bucks was literally nothing.)

I'm not really sure what the EmoMania shows are, cos they've only run 1 of them, and it wasn't a streamed Black Label show.

But - I think PWA might have to bring some decent talent, cos they also have the TAMASHII show on Sunday arvo (Dropouts, Robbie, Lena & Bonza already announced for the Supershow too, and I'm sure 2 of the spots in the 5v5 are going to PWA guys after they're announced for those shows.)

Ultimately decided against that though, I don't think the TAMASHII brand is that strong, I'd like to have the Sunday to catch up with mates families if any of them want to (it's just the lads on Friday night), and I would've had to move my flight later, which might've meant I couldn't pick up my dog til the next morning.

A lot of New Japan 6-10 man tag matches are pointless filler, but this one stood out to me as match of the night by far.
