Do you need to be up to speed with all the previous Marvel films? I haven't seen Black Panther nor Guardians of the galaxy (though knocked off Doctor Strange and Spider-Man Homecoming on the weekend) and checking with those of have seen it if it's worthwhile catching up on the others?

I would strongly suggest, yes.

I'd say it was on par with Hawthorn the Swans in the 2014 grand final

That said it still wouldn't be the number 1 movie my all time comic book movie list. Original Superman will never be topped - The Dark Knight and Spider-man 2 ALMOST came close to doing so.

Avengers 3 still wouldn't be my favourite Marvel movie.... but it's easily the best Avengers movie they've put out thus far.

Went and saw at Village Fountain gate in the older Vmax Cinema last night. Any chance they could turn the volume up especially being a Vmax cinema? with the funny laugh out loud moments where the entire cinema laughed it was very hard to hear the follow up sentence. kinda frustrating.

As for the movie. was amazing!!! had me on the edge of the seat and totally mesmerised for its entirety asking myself where is this going to go. didn't have that classic superhero feel to it where you just know they are going to save the day, which I loved. great mix of humour and action scenes.

surprised to see 'critics' slam some parts of the movie, I absolutely loved it all of it. will go again!

Gees why would i want to get your opinion after i see the movie. The whole point is to work out whether the movie is worth going to or not.

Once you guys have multiple kids under the age of 4 whilst your wife works 60 hours a week and you yourself work 45 hours a week and spend 4 months travelling on trips overseas for work you will realise that you simply just dont have time to waste 3 hours going to a movie that may be sh**. I did that with age of ultron and cant do that again.

I don't have multiple kids.
My wife works 60 hours as well.
I work 70 hours a week, actually probably more.
Am overseas every month for a week, sometimes more.

Everyone is different, have varying amounts of time and priorities and interests.

If you don't feel you have time to waste which is fine, perhaps just decide not to watch it. Without sifting through anonymous opinions on the internet.

I only type on big footy when im doing something i have to do that doesnt require my full attention. I.e taxi rides, airports, toilet time (although in my thirties im now finding this requires more and more attention sadly), date nights, when my wife wants me to watch a boring show, drinks with workmates who do nothing but gossip about colleagues etc. So typing here takes none of my real free time up like a movie does. Im thankful for the good reviews altbough no one has yet responded to my initial question about the movie. Hopefully someone does soon.
