Have we ever averaged such a low points total after 4 rounds of footy (at any part of the season)? Bloody pathetic.

Yeah... and if Richmond/Melbourne tomorrow is a high scoring game, either won by Richmond or a narrow loss, we may go bottom.

Would it be the first time ever we've been dead last?
we;ve been last before
04 rd 4 off the top of my head
I could check in more details

The 58 is deceptively close to 10 goals. Our actual average of goals per match is 7.75.

7.75 goals per game (down from 8.3 going into the Carlton game) and 11.75 points per game.

Love that accuracy.. 39.7% and that's before you consider all the shots which have gone OOTF or failed to make the distance completely (some from as little as 25m). Good sides should average at least 55%, we're struggling to even get 30% once all scoring shot attempts are taken into account.

What hideous accuracy... Sad thing is, we're not even alone. Why is goalkicking so terrible this year? It's making the previous years look stirling by comparison.

Is it simply the faster-paced game? Or the ability by sides to force the ball carrier to go wide?

The spectacle of football this year has been abominable all over the board.
