If you read a post I put up somewhere else, I actually felt sorry for your supporters on Sunday, until I had to read the crap posted on these forums.

As your mod said probably not the right board to be posting on, but was just pointing out the fact that our supporters were sincere in their posts and you called them patronising.

Anyway good luck for the rest of the year.

Luck had nothing to do with it. It was 2 teams of no skill grinding out a horrible game. The Kangaroos willing to work harder for 3 quarters but without the ability to put us away like they should have and us showing what we should be able to do consistently if we had the ticker to work hard for more than 15 minute bursts.

Camberwell were the Cobras? Why did I always think they were the Eels? Someone needs to put serious work into a Wikipedia entry on the VFA that includes all the logos, the nicknames, and reflects the magically random nature in which teams went in and out of the VFA.

And one which asks the question of how much money Sunshine would have been able to extort from the Adelaide Crows for using their nickname had they survived until 1991 and not folded halfway through 1989.
