Yep its going to be hard to see how sally and gene still fit into the story.Absolutely agree here.
Although you could now argue it's moved past pretty much everyone but Barry/Hank/Cristobal.

This season was choc full of those sorts of scenes. They were far less frequent in the first two seasons. Thats what made this season so great. That and the obscure humour.I was the other way around. I thought the acting class scenes were some of the best from the first two seasons.
There was nothing as good in season 3 as Barry having the meltdown on stage after killing Chris.

But you just said that thats the reason season 2 was better. Cos it had the dramatic moment with Chris! So dramatic moments make season 2 good but make season 3 bad?I don't think more necessarily means better.
And season 1 and 2 were much funnier imo.
'Criminal'.Its criminal that this show isnt getting the attention it deserves.
its last season was vastly superior to anything we have seen in better call saul, ozark and the Boys. Yet they get all the attention.
The scene with the helmet 'handoff' just about had me in stitches haha. It was almost too well done, it almost felt out of place with what was going on around it.But you just said that thats the reason season 2 was better. Cos it had the dramatic moment with Chris! i agree there was more comedy in previous seasons. but i found the comedy this season funnier cos it came unexpectedly in intense moments.
the one downside with this season is we felt a little too disconnected from Barry. it wasnt properly portayed what his thinking and motivations are in the scenes that he was in.
it actually seemed that hank, gene, sally and even fuches took over the main character role at times with barry becoming a side character.
100 percent rating by critics on rotton tomatoes.'Criminal'.
How dare the show I like not get the attention I feel it deserves at the expense of shows I don't like!
Gotta have something to whinge about I guess.
You mean the episode that has a current rating of 9.8 on IMDB and is considered by a lot to be the best episode of the series ?Really liked this but S2E5 with the kid is among the dumbest episodes of any show ive ever seen. What in gods name were they thinking here
You're kidding?! That baffles me. Easily the worst ep ive watched, by far too.You mean the episode that has a current rating of 9.8 on IMDB and is considered by a lot to be the best episode of the series ?

Hannah Gadsby is rated highly so dgaf what the majority think tbh. That is an awful episode.
The child with superpowers randomly in an otherwise "normal people" show ruined it. If there's no more of that nonsense itll be goodI'm with the masses, the whole episode was amazing. The end sequence is the store is legit one of the best 6 minutes of television I've ever seen.
From "How do I breathe without you" playing as Barry spots Ronny wheezing for air, to Barry saying "Hey Ronny, don't be an arseh*le" after trying to murder him and his kid all day, to Ronny lining Barry up with the running fly kick and missing by 5 feet.
Class.
A few shows do it these days, where an off beat ep props up. The Leftovers did it and it was one of the best hour of tv you could see. It’s just creativity ..shows don’t have to be so linear all the time. The child with superpowers randomly in an otherwise "normal people" show ruined it.
