Hmm on the xbox you join as part of party and the rest of your party gets an invite request pop-up mid game or from the multi player search screen.

The mid game request is annoying. One member of your party joins another BF4 game and it pops-up in the foreground a yes/no to join. Been killed a few times because of that.

Basically what you need to do is create a party chat, have someone find an empty server then all join him.

Not sure if Party works on PS like it does the XB, I think its more just a group chat, but I havn't used it before as pantskyle is always bloody playing FIFA and not BF

We can still party chat as we don't need to be playing the same game. Just invite me into the party.

Whenever I join a Big Footy player in a server I always get opposed to them. TheGermanator and I have a BBS civil war going on!!!

btw you can change which side you are on after you join a game. Can only do it once though
