what's the go with the speed of the games. They lowered the tickets and got slammed so what do they do ? Speed up the tickets. I'm having conquest games end in 12mins

Got my 6 straight wins in RedSec badge last week and was pretty chuffed.

Apart from doing the daily challenges that’s where most of of my game time is spent, with the occasional conquest or gauntlet.

Played for a few hours now. Can see why everyone hates the menu, it's garbage. Can barely work out what's going on.

Overall, it's definitely better than 2042. Still a fair bit off BF1, but I don't think we'll get back to that anytime soon with these bullshit Battle Passes/Seasons. I know it's the rage these days (even F1 25 had it), but it means they've replaced ranks with tiers, which can be skipped with BPs and unlock guns and gun upgrades sooner (which is dodgy PTW BS).

I'm old fashioned. I like Ranks. I like one outfit per class so I can see who's on my ****ing team and not have every single campaigner look different. Too much customisation, I don't need to hang keyrings off my gun that no-one can see. Oh and give me back my gun/gadget/vehicle kill stats FFS!!

I've started to rant more as I've typed, which I hadn't meant to. I have enjoyed what I've played so far, even though I suck. Feels like I'm playing with rubber bullets at times, can get half a dozen direct hits on someone without killing them, then someone nails me in about 3 hits. I've actually quite liked all the maps I've played and feel they've nailed the destruction. Can't quite level a map like in BC2, but it's probably more balanced, which is good.

Does anyone play on console with cross play turned off? Is it easy enough to get games? I feel it'd be easier not playing against those on PC.

Hoping to hear something soon about the second season of content. Definitely need a couple more maps soon as I am starting to find it getting a bit stale.
Hitreg needs a lot of work still too. The gunplay at the end of life for BF2042 was honestly the best gunplay I've ever felt in a game, if BF6 got the gunplay to that level it would be amazing.

Also they absolutely need to fix the UI massively as well as stop spreading their player base so thin over a bunch of very average game modes (ideally a proper server browser).

The only way that works is if they make the vast majority of trees indestructible, otherwise it would just be a f**king mess with vehicles knocking everything over and people blowing the whole place up.

There should be new maps in Season 2 in about 2 weeks

Depends how you do it. In Valparaiso in Bad Company 2, you could obiliterate all the trees in Rush if you took too long, but it meant you had to really push. And that was one of the best maps in BC2. I think you could still make most the trees destructable and still provide some kind of cover. Or you just limit vehicles in that sector.
