How the hell do you get run out on the final day of a four day game when you are batting for a draw?? **shakes head**

Cossie is 27* and Cam Borgas 99* in the 2nds

Oh and Mods can you please take action against the thread starter for posting this on the wrong board. ;)
Agree.

I'm sick of n00bs creating off topic threads in the Crows board. Did they not read the rules pointed out here!!!

Thread moved and I'll give the author a one week ban for good measure. :D

5/260
Ferg out for 26 how frustrating!
Manou out for 3 :thumbsd:
But good to see kahn making some runs on 60 at the momment:thumbsu:

You'd have to assume Plant would be the first to go; presumably replaced by one of Cosgrove/Delmont/Borgas with Klinger moving to opening perhaps?

Those three would also have decent claims over Ferg's spot.

Cossie gets his ton in the 2nds then gets out

I am assuminf they are going for the tonk late in the day.

@jo the only thing is they may leave ferg in as he isn't "out of form" he is just not making the most of the form.

I think Ferg is incapable of making the most out of good form. Hes made one 1st class ton ever hasnt he?

its is worrying that he hasn't made more than 2 tons, saying that he has got time on his hands I guess, probably a bit too late for him to go any further than state cricket now.

The centuries came in the All out for 29 game (which hilariously comes up as error not found) and this baby that came later in the same season.

I think Ferg will be a good number 5 in a strong line up, Kilnger at three is good, Cosgrove slot in to 4, Dan Harris opening is solid, Tom Plant... well, he bats time, witch originally an openers job and not just any mug makes double tons against Murali, Choc at 7 is as good as we will find, @ 6... O'Brien/Delmont? our batting looks solid, Kahn to 4 Cosgrove to 6, its our bowling that i worry about!

What's going on with Gary Putland?

Left armer who can swing the ball, I'd have thought he would have gotten some chances. He was one of the best bowlers in grade cricket last year, wasn't he? Or is there something about him that I have missed?

And I would bring in Delmont and Cosgrove for Plant and Ferguson. Ferg has had way too many chances now, and he is yet to do anything with them. Plant might be unlucky, but Klinger can open and actually score.

Richardson is still only 18 i think, good bowler, does struggle a little bit at times with consistency: he'll bowl a brilliant over, then bowl a shocking over. He's getting there though.

You've also got to remember that at the moment the 2nd XI are only playing the ACT. Only Mark Higgs has played First Class Cricket and he played for us at one stage (played for Northern Districts in Grade cricket).
