Can I say, "Beware the redbacks this year!"
Mark Cosgrove is fit for the first time in a long time, Wise and Tait to open the attack, Dan Cullen to find some groove, Younis Kahn to add some stability and leadership to the squad, Callum Ferguson to be a great seccond dig batter again and continued improvement from Andy Delmount and Jake Brown... SA are on the improve!

You know you're going real well when you introduce a Pakistani to add stability and leadership ;)

Daniel Christian impressed me last year. I think he will play a vital role in our ODD campaign, in the middle order, and with his bowling. Klinger was a good pick up from the Vics, and should hopefully add some stability to our very fragile top order. If we can have someone in the top order average 30+ it would be an achievement!

If we reversed the bowlers and batters averages...we would be an unbeatable team! ;) :D

Tait will play a vital role until (if he does) gets back into the Aussie team. Always a threatening bowler. I remember a 2 or 3 over stint v England late in the day when he was playing in the tour match for SA....extremely frightening pace. Could see the movement he got from my viewing position on the Hill infront of the Clem Hill Stand. Let him loose!!!!!

I will always be out there watching some cricket this year. Hoping the Redbacks can do something, but even if they dont, a day out at the cricket is always relaxing and enjoyable.

Ha ha! Maybe he is going to teach the other players about religious and political tolerance while he is here as well!

Can you imagine Taity pulling out his rug to face Mecca and start praying.

Might be just what he needs.

Ahh yes I remember that too, he snagged a couple of wickets too didn't he?

^ That's the good thing about cricket, you generally don't take it as seriously as football. So it doesn't really matter when you lose. Obviously, its nice to win, but nothing I'd lose sleep over!

YEAH... WHat you said... has anyone heard the news on Prospect?
Only news I've heard is that Callum Ferguson has left to go to West Torrens and Darel Hart (yep, the Crows Darel Hart) is their new coach. Apparently was a very good cricketer before footy took hold.

I'll have what he's having.

For Mark Cosgrave and the red backs sake, he better make runs his first time at bat or it will be back to the Big Mac and fries on his way home.
