Can I say, "Beware the redbacks this year!"
Mark Cosgrove is fit for the first time in a long time, Wise and Tait to open the attack, Dan Cullen to find some groove, Younis Kahn to add some stability and leadership to the squad, Callum Ferguson to be a great seccond dig batter again and continued improvement from Andy Delmount and Jake Brown... SA are on the improve!
Following the Redbacks gives me an insight into the life of a Richmond supporter.
For Shield games you would be lucky to have 11 guys on the Hill.Might as well pluck 11 guys from the Hill, they'll probably want it more anyway.
Nah we won something, a few years ago. So Richmond.Id say Fremantle.![]()
You know you're going real well when you introduce a Pakistani to add stability and leadership![]()
Ha ha! Maybe he is going to teach the other players about religious and political tolerance while he is here as well!
Tait will play a vital role until (if he does) gets back into the Aussie team. Always a threatening bowler. I remember a 2 or 3 over stint v England late in the day when he was playing in the tour match for SA....extremely frightening pace. Could see the movement he got from my viewing position on the Hill infront of the Clem Hill Stand. Let him loose!!!!!
I will always be out there watching some cricket this year. Hoping the Redbacks can do something, but even if they dont, a day out at the cricket is always relaxing and enjoyable.
Only news I've heard is that Callum Ferguson has left to go to West Torrens and Darel Hart (yep, the Crows Darel Hart) is their new coach. Apparently was a very good cricketer before footy took hold.YEAH... WHat you said... has anyone heard the news on Prospect?
We needs teams from the ATC, Northern Territory and Papua New Guinea entered asap. How does everyone think we will go? As usual, I will be expecting nothing higher than outright 6th![]()

They wish!quiet word doing the circles, they signed, O'Brien, Cooper, Klinger and "Herb" Elliott...
They wish!
Wise and Cooper I think are going to Uni, the others to Kensington.
Please tell me you walked out into the middle at the wrong ground too.
I'll have what he's having. Can I say, "Beware the redbacks this year!"

For Mark Cosgrave and the red backs sake, he better make runs his first time at bat or it will be back to the Big Mac and fries on his way home.
Yeah... it dont help when Porraka maccas is on your way home from town and is open 24/7...
