Kahn's return (although i didnt expect 300 runs from him, expected him to look FAR better at the crease!)

Probably a bit of nit picking from me too but he did get the ball of the innings to dismiss him, hardly fair to judge him on that IMO.

Positives: win, Klinger Harris Ferguson Borgas batting, Tait's bowling, Negatives: Borgas's dismissal, Kahn's return (although i didnt expect 300 runs from him, expected him to look FAR better at the crease!) Klingers injury...

Negatives: Tait's bowling. If he keeps that up he'll be gone to the National team before summer even starts, let alone the one day series here. With him gone, that leaves a mighty hole in the Redbacks attack.

How was the ball today? If he asserted himself on the match with a few strong defensive pushes, Bird may have felt the pressure and not been able to produce such a corker of a delivery!

lulz at Khan ... the failure rubs off on anyone who comes to play with us. Golden duck to a quality player like him against a bowler like Thornley .. seriously wtf? If it was any other team he was playing for he'd probably have made a century by now.

Over 33.6: Cameron to Ferguson, FOUR, attempts to drive off the back foot and finds the edge just wide of second to bring up the 100 for the Redbacks in 141 minutes

lol typical Ferguson, I bet that's how he's got his other three boundries.

2008-10-24 14:26:45Over 39.4: Hauritz to Ferguson, no run, OUT, advances again but finds the edge and straight down the throat of first slip. Shame as he was looking good there. Manou the next man in for the Redbacks2008-10-24 14:25:38Over 39.3: Hauritz to Ferguson, FOUR, advances and lofts him down the ground, couple of bounces into the fence

thought the one daier was the other night... someone should tell them to bat for two days not 50 overs!

I was just about to post the same thing.

FFS is a 4 day game, you hit 1 four thats enough, especially at 3/126 (now 4) and your the last recognised batsmen.

someone teach these guys patience

Theres a few guys in this team who need to learn to control their emotions when they bat.

FFS, you woulda thought some of them might have learned a thing or two from boof. He was one of the biggest hitters you'll ever see, but he didnt go out there and slog all innings, he built a very calm, measured tempo and worked the ball around in the longer form.

5/255

Not a bad partnership.

You know, theres a lesson to be learned in this years recruiting policy. O'Brien and Klinger were both low key recruits from other states, who are hungry to play State cricket, and theyve both had decent starts to the season.

Khan is a high profile recruit, nothing.

Maybe we should have a look at our policy of going after big name international players (Flower, Fleming, Herb).

S.A all out for 313!!
Harris - 41
Klinger - 43
Fergurson - 47
Manou - 80
O'Brien - 63

So that ends today’s proceedings with the Redbacks being bowled out for 313 after looking good at 6/308 4 overs prior. Good contribution from 5 batters today but all failed to go on and score a big hundred. NSW will be the happier camp tonight

Bloody hell that is terrible, No one went on an made a big score:thumbsdown::mad:
