I don't know if it's a completely stupid comment. If you have two girls with exactly the same personality but one is good looking and one isn't, the latter would go. It's not like the votes would be tied. Not something I condone but it's reality.

In this case Anna's personality has no comparison.

She deserved to go. Her behaviour wasn't appropriate, and whether she looked like she did or not she would've gone tonight.

However, the point you raise about a pretty girl with the same personality, more likely to go than a less attractive girl with the same personality is a valid one.
