Problem with playing Freo is not having our players falling asleep with Ross the Boss' style of play. Often Freo bore the opposition into a snooze and as my mate says when all the players are asleep Freo run riot with their 3 or 4 goals to win

Yes, getting Essendon or Carlton in an elimination final would be horrible.

We were 4-6 and we're odds on to finish 15-7. Could not give a rat's about anyone else.

Take next weekend off, get some sunshine and relax, and then do a training drill the next week against GWS. Sounds like the perfect prep for a finals campaign.

Blues and Bombers play MCG better than Etihad, we'd be giving them a leg up they don't deserve if we played either of them there.

As are North Melbourne if you look at form over the whole season.

I think if you take off your blue and white tinted glasses for a moment and get some perspective, you'll find that NM and Freo are very similar in terms of recent form (last seven weeks). The game will be very close. Freo are the best defensive team at the moment and probably play the most contested, structured footy. NM are the best attacking / running team and have very good rebound at of defence and the capacity to score quickly.

FYI, I never said Freo was "a force away". I said that Freo has won more games away than at home. That was your over-exaggeration.

It would be good if this board could refrain from the group think "boring Ross Lyon Fremantle" crap. Anybody who has paid any attention to the Dockers this year would know they have a hard edge and play a combative style. Their confidence is at a high now too. This is a legit danger game.

Acting like playing Freo will be easy because we haven't beaten a top 4 side (WC was a top 4 side for most of the year and Geelong have beaten many top 4 sides this year) is bordering on foolish.
