Nothing to do with me not keeping a lid on things (although after last night keeping the euphoria in check is a bit hard (few days time it'll be in check). I just don't rate your team sorry. Everything is tip top at roo land at the moment. Hopefully Goldy can play another blinder against Sandi. Even if he doesn't win the taps I have no doubt the extraction team of ziebell, swallow, cunnington, and cruz will find targets

Yes, getting Essendon or Carlton in an elimination final would be horrible.

We were 4-6 and we're odds on to finish 15-7. Could not give a rat's about anyone else.

carlton would be a problem on the mcg. they're a good side. geelong would as well.
obviously the best result for the club would be a game against fremantle, at etihad.
essendon won't make it I don't think.

if we play any side at etihad we should start favourite and probably go on to win, its a fortress for us, the g is an issue though i agree

It's not out there yet, but Griffin's leg actually fell off during the warm-up.

You know when you're playing kick-to-kick and your shoe goes flying when you try a massive torp? Well, the same thing happened to Griff except his leg went too. That's why he didn't take the field and Sandi got the call up.

If you noticed when the camera went on Griff in the dug-out, they purposefully kept the camera above his waist. And at the end of the game, he was conveniently playing hop-scotch with Hilly on the sidelines rather than taking the field with the other players. Funny how he was the only one hopping and Hilly never took his turn....

So unless they can re-attach his leg, Griff will probably be doubtful for next week. Should be fine for Melbourne though. After all, anyone on one leg can beat Melbourne.

Danger game coming off a big win. Hope the guys don't get ahead of themselves a la Geelong round 2. Having said that I think we will win but it will be a real scrap. Freo are a very solid outfit.
