Could never understand the adulation for Nick Riewoldt. Tremendous footballer but he relied on his absurd aerobic capacity to beat opponents rather than sheer presence and total domination.
Didn't swing enough games at the peak of his powers for mind.
Riewoldt won us a lot of football of his own boot.. if anything we were far too reliant on Roo and our scoring suffered for it.

Some of his best games are insane..
31 touches 3 goals vs Melbourne 2011
30 touches 16 marks 4 goals vs Freo 2014
26 touches 21 marks 9 goals vs Brisbane 2016
Also had two bags of 9 against Carlton and Melbourne from CHF. Bloke would turn games by taking a pack mark on wing before busting his gut to get back inside 50 to receive a pass only 2-3 disposals later. If Riewoldt had played as a stay at home full forward he would have kicked bags and dominated like Lloyd however that would’ve wasted his aerobic ability. I may be bias but he’s comfortably the best key forward since Buddy.

N Reiwoldt
Kennedy, Fevola
Lloyd, Pavlich
J. Reiwoldt
Brown, Richardson
Hall, Tredrea
Roughead

All great players though

Warren Tredrea was better then Nick Riewoldt. Swap them around and Riewoldt becomes a talented but flawed CHF and Tredrea becomes the best CHF since Carey

And i hate the lego haired prick and needs to give back his 2007 goal of the year, But What the **** is Lloyd featuring down peoples list? Guy ****ing anchored the essendon forwardline for all the years they were relevent. He was boring as **** if you were not an essendon fan, but averaged 3.5 goals a game. give him credit
