With the news that St Kilda have ruled out drafting Cousins, do you think it's possible Essendon (or any other club that's previously said 'no') would throw him a lifeline in the PSD, at a reduced price perhaps? Surely he would be more determined to play than anything, so lowering his price wouldn't be too much to ask.
If he's at a relatively low price, do you think it would be worth gaining his experience and elite professionalism (on-field), not to mention what he could provide for a few seasons on-field?

Would look a tad hypocritical if we were to do a total 360 ... having already delisted Tom Hislop for off-field issues.

For Benny's sake, i hope someone picks him up in the national draft. I know he is still yet to officially nominate, but hypothetically, lets say he did. Come The AFL and real experts alike, have said getting Benny back into his field of work is important for his rehab. Come end of Saturday, Ben Cousins doesnt get his name read out, he will be shattered. Wouldnt suprise me if we hear something of him giving it up again.

He gave up drugs in favour of his life, at the moment his life is all about getting back on the footy field. If he is denied that opportunity, i feel a relapse.

Somebody give the man a chance.

The whole Jason Johnson/Damien Peverill thing makes me think otherwise. Obviously he did speak to Knights, but not about whether or not they were making it public news yet. Although he is quieter nowadays, I've cringed nearly every time Ray has spoken, especially regarind on-field issues.

Please knighter!!! Take benny in pre season no one else of interest why not take a Preimership & Brownlow Medalist. After next year we will only have Lucas and Lloyd that are premiership players we need the exprince amongst the explosive youth and the number 9 is vacant!!!
