Vic Metro U18 representative in 2009 and showcased his speed in the Victorian screening with 2.90sec for 20m. His first season at the Pies was promising with the midfielder playing in two senior practice matches. Succumbed to shin injuries which curtailed his progress.

2010 season
Ben Sinclair jumped on the scene in his first season as a Magpie, playing in two senior practice matches in the preseason. Displaying great hands and a knack for finding the footy, Sinclair succumbed to shin injuries, which plagued his season resulting in post-season surgery.
2011 season
Played 4 senior games and acquitted himself very well.
Averaged 11 disposals, two marks and three tackles per game.
Was slightly reminiscent of a young Daisy Thomas the wasy he attacked and ball and the ball carrier.
Kicked two goals for the year.
2012 Prediction.
He's a young gun on the way up.
Incredibly hard at the ball and tenacious.
As with all the young guys, the task will be breaking into the Pies top 22, a team brimming with talent.
If we go the rotation policy a bit more this year, and certainly in the advent of injury/suspension he'll get a go, but it will be interesting to see where Buckley rates him on a best 22 basis.
