Hope im not stepping on anyones feet posting a thread here but am keen to get some tips, predictions for the Bendigo Cup tommrow.

im heading over there for the day - looking forward to a great day

I remember going there 10 yrs ago when i was at uni and being able to take your own full size eskys in there... o they were fun times

Back In Black finished reasonably close to the second fave for the Melbourne Cup last start. I'll have a little nibble each way.

I don't like to say it, but surely Tanby or At First Sight win this race.

I'll just be having a small bet on Williams' ride, Dream Peddler at nice each each way odds, the form he's in, he could win a race on a donkey at the moment.

I don't mind Boom n Zoom each way.

It's one that always gets under the guard and the big bendigo track should suit it.

There's three or four that will go forward and put the pace on and froggy should find it a nice spot one off the rail from the barrier.

Great win in the Cranbourne Cup and I hope he gives you a return at bendigo.

My reservation is that Keys stated he set it for his home cup, not entered in any majors in town. Others are aiming high and he may have already peaked. But don;t let me turn you off him

At this stage I like Innocent Lady & Sahara Sun.

Both should be a good odds especially the later.

I am because AFS is already in the Cup.
Price is well gone now too with Lamasery out.
Having said that he's been $41 to $26 in the last day so they obviously think he's over the virus

Bendigo Cup Day

Race 1 - 10 Flash of Doubt - loved how she hit the line really hard over 1000 on debut. Up 100m in distance will only help, but not sure if the maiden form is anything flash. Then again this not a strong maiden either.

Race 2 - 1 Danzare - another who will come into it with the rise in distance up to the mile, had some traffic issues last time out in what should be a pretty good form race. If there is a bit of speed on should be able to run all over this small field.

Race 3 - 7 In The Pocket - reluctantly though. To the eye hasn't been overly great, but has finished not far away from some good maiden winners specifically Specter (a city winner). The distance rise again may make the difference.

Race 4 - 5 Sparks Alight - back a mare in form! Put the writing on the wall 2 starts back then flogged a weakish field on this track at home last start. Career best form. Not much to beat here except for Mayneda Strategy who is a good mare but doesn't win enough. Probably a moral exacta.

Race 5 - 1 Cash Bound - Despite the top weight had good city form, has been gelded and looks capable of running a cracker first up.
Ra Ikane is the obvious danger and I really like the Nash booking for him. However he can be a speedy squib, beware.

Race 6 - 12 Toned - didnt win by much but won fairly arrogantly last start against Sabres who went on to win Geelong Cup day. Threw his head up a bit and didnt settle too well, if he can put in a more mature performance it could be a good win for him. Lloyd likes to bring his up and comers here.

Race 7 - 13 Solarco - Bit of a value runner here down the bottom,ran a very good race last start after looking gone at the turn but sneaking a place in the end. I don't mind the ones that have been beating him. Has a 2nd at this track.

Race 8 - 6 Tanby - Unlike the stablemate has not had any setbacks, is in form, Geelong form usually stacks up, weaker field here this time, they usually end up breaking through eventually....has the most miles in the legs you would think too.

Race 9 - 1 Flat Chat - Really taking it on trust here as he was only average first up and gets more weight here. Very very good galloper if he has come in in the last few weeks watch out. Really give strong consideration here to Redhead Rage - last run was enrmous and gets 1kg off the fav! May have a sneaky each way bet on it too.

Race 10 - 10 Total Liberty - 2 starts back ran a bottler then was disappointing last start. Looks more of an ideal race, lets just hope theres some money in the kitty to bet with!

I believe he has a leg infection which needed treatment so he cant run.
Dont think its major but is running out of time to run in anything

This ones scratched - going with the 13 Spring Raider - natural improvement from its 2nd run and a cleaner getaway should put it into the finish. Local horse.

The first 3 races are Horrid. Hard to see many favourites being beaten from Race 4 onwards.

Going for big quaddie and banking on an outsider getting the cup as its a poor field.
