He has also told me Gale is gone also, possibly as soon a week or so.

He will head to Tassie.

Has anyone heard anything remotely similar?

I'd be surprised if Gale goes to tassie, no disrespect but that is a backwards step from richmond. I wouldn't be surprised if he heads to AFL HQ where tassie is one item in his remit, as well as governance over the game
