So if the siren had of gone before Pfeiffer squibbed a contest and waited at the back of a pack for a cheap kick, Carlton still would have won.

Do you watch games or see a snippet on the highlights reel and form a vague opinion? The ball was kicked in to Fev and McPharlin but went past that contest. Pfeiffer was heading towards the goals with an opponent, attacked the ball, gathered cleanly while his opponent slipped and then snapped the goal.

Do you mind telling me exactly which contest he squibbed during that passage of play or are you going to simply not reply now that you look silly?

It would seem he has chosen the latter option.

Terrible post, if we'd played as many poor teams as you guys have there is no doubt we'd be above you. Lets see how you go against Geelong, Hawthorn and the Doggies.

Well there's one of them done and they lost by 10 goals. :) :o

I wasn't aware that Fev cost us a major sponsor worth a hell of a lot of money.

Please, if I am forgetting something, please tell me

In the subsequent major sponsor deal we got more than the TAC deal anyway, if the TAC had've sponsored Carlton they would've cancelled it for Fevs shit as well.

So it's all good. :) :thumbsu:

I don't think that a Richmond supporter is in any position to ridicule an opposition supporter for losing to Geelong by 10 goals after what happened when you played them the first time last year.

And that shows the current state of the team much better than the result from a couple of weeks back doesn't it?

Last year? We've played them twice since that debacle, that's long gone in the memory.

Its all about this year and the future.

You got flogged by Geelong. Super effort that. :thumbsu:

So you are saying you can only judge based on this years performances.

In that case, have a look at what happened when our respective clubs played Collingwood.

Or, even more relevant - have a look at the ladder :thumbsu:

Lets have a look at the most relevant of them all. Who won when we played Round 1?

So you would rather beat us than finish on top of us on the ladder?

Geez, I guess that says a lot about Richmond and its "near enough is good enough" approach to the last 30 years.

Well done on beating us in round 1. If that made your season, then we're happy to help you out.

I'm sorry, but when did I ever say Richmond weren't improving lately? Try again...

You said Richmond supporters couldn't comment on Carltons loss because of something that happened over a year ago.

Now, either you're suggesting Richmond hasn't improved, or you're using an irrelevant point of comparison.

A little surprised that Pfieffer got delisted. Started OK, but I guess it became apparent that he was going to struggle to find a spot in our starting 22. He didn't show enough as an opportunist medium forward, and there is a huge list of players that would get a run in the Blues highly talented midfield before him. Wish Pfieffer all the best, and hope he gets an opportunity elsewhere. Gourdis seemed to play most of season 2008 in the VFL reserves. At least both Clubs made early decisions. I note the Tiges have delisted Cartledge, which has opened up an opportunity for Street or Ackland to be picked up by the Tiges in the PSD. :)

Gourdis won by a single vote!!
I wonder what looks better on a resume ..... BigFooty poll wins or AFL games. I wonder what Gourdis would have preferred?
