Better Captain ?

Ok it's time to pick out of Hird, Buckley OR Voss for the Best captain out of those 3.

Has to be the best TEAM Player and teh best out of the 3 who is most likely to get the WIN for his club.

I will reserve my judgement for a while so I don't seem Biased

Voss hands down.

Well not actually hands down. hird could probably rival him if he played more. But Voss is a three tiem premiership captain, a brownlow winner, and basically just a total gun.

I think Voss has been overated in the past couple of years... seriously, whats he done of late to prove to us he's the best captain? His perfromances havent been great and he doesn't have those great games like he used to. People are judging him on his past reputation, but i wouldn't say he's the best CAPTAIN anymore. One gets the feeling people are voting for him because he doesnt play for Collingwood or Essendon. Cousins should be on that list, a top player who plays well almost every game, gives 100%.

It has nothing to do with being a 3 time premiership Captain, multiple AA selection, B + F winner, Brownlow Medallist, and a career of throwing himself into contests with no regard for his safety

That's about it. If TheCoach is gonna use his theory, what has Hird done that makes him the best captain? What has Buckley done? Hird has had one great match after publicly critizing and umpire and giving him a bad name, setting a bad example and nearly decimating new Umpire numbers. Buckley, well, 2 Grand Final losses when favourites and falling to bottom 4 straight after says it all!

i think he is tlking bout those 3 coz over the last 4-5 yrs they have been the best

Hirdy just ahead of Voss.

Voss unfortunately is past his best, does not have the same impact on games as he once did. Great leader but he's had such a great team around him it has made his job decidedly easier. Hirdy has almost carried his team through to finals series on the back of inspirational efforts and has got to be the best big game player going around.
