What he actually said was Gawn is the best tap ruckman in the league. In the middle of a purple patch where Brayshaw was walking them out of the centre but even still, seems a bit of a reach.

I can see people rating him as the best in the league, he's very very good. Not everyone watches NN every week though evidently!

To be honest I'm very happy for NicNat to keep being overlooked. His tap work has not been what it was at his peak, but I'm happy with how he is building, just as I am happy with how our midfield is building as Shuey's form continues to improve and we stop dicking around with where Yeo plays. If peak performance doesn't occur until September then that sits with me just fine.
It's not incompetent or biased to give some shine elsewhere when it is deserved.

Apart from the taps grundy just runs around picking up uncontested possessions at will. He is a major link up player .
Geelong used blizcavs to tag him with great success .
Cant see why we couldn't have hutch tag grundy to stop all his easy touches
