Big Bash Drafting Game

With the news that the domestic Big Bash is going down a similar road to the IPL who wants to be a part of a Big Bash Drafting Game?

Rules are as follows;

- 6 teams; initially representing each of the states however each manager can move their team to any part of Australia that they wish
- Squads of 15 selected via an AFL style draft.
- Maximum of 4 overseas players
- Australian Test/ODI/T20 players are to be considered available for the competition

Draft will begin when the six managing spots are filled. Draft order will be determined at random and reversed each round. Each manager will get 12 hours to take their pick otherwise the next manager can take their pick. You may PM me your pick if you like to avoid missing your turn.

Please only enter this game if you are committed to seeing the game through. It should be relatively quick with only 6 managers required, assuming everyone is reasonably committed.

Once the 6 spots are filled I'll post the draft order, create a team list thread and we can start the draft.

No restrictions on who the overseas players can be, obviously we're looking at drafting current players rather than past legends.

Overseas players, Australian internations and domestic players are included in the same draft. You are allowed a max of 4 overseas players, therefore your other 11 in your squad will be made up of Aussie Internationals and domestic players.

I'm going for a different tactic to everyone else and picking a domestic player with my first pick. White is one of the most damaging T20 batsman in the world and he has a fine captain's head on his shoulders as well. Great slip fielder as well.

Probably the two best T20 bowlers. There's more good batsmen than good pace bowlers....

Pick up a quality all-rounder in Watson. Hasn't performed as well in the internationals but has been superb at domestic level, especially in the IPL.
