I understand the entertainment factor of BBL and T20 - but having little idea about BBL at all apart from the vague awareness we have 8 teams and the Scorchers are relatively successful, reading that sentence on espncricinfo has left me all confused and wondering why cricket has come to this.

Powersurge is a good rule tho. Breaks uo the first 6 over powerplay in to 4 overs and and 2 more for the batting team to take when ever

Yeah this one is a gimmick. Teams are allowed to replace a player in that the half way point of the first innings but that say the batting team is replacing a bowler, that bowler has to have bowled less than 1 over at the time

Look awesome effort but getting hundred now in the bbl isn’t as prestigious as it was a few years ago. One international player, couple part times and heaps of club level cricketers.

Cam Boyce is a super talent who really should have got more of a chance at T20 level when players like Muirhead were getting a game.

His comeback should be one of stories of the season given the mysterious health issues he's had to navigate these last couple of years. The fact he's playing at all is impressive, let alone having a game like he did today. Absolute gun.

Cam Boyce is a super talent who really should have got more of a chance at T20 level when players like Muirhead were getting a game.

He's a genuinely talented T20 bowler and very underrated in my opinion. I reckon there's a spot for him in the T20 squad if he can maintain his form, he performs well at this level and is one of the Renegades' best players. For mine he is the third best T20 spinner in the country behind Zampa and Agar and could possibly have a role to play at the T20 World Cup this year if he can maintain his form and is picked for the squad.

T Sangha will be something else. He should be prioritised.

Also some decent spin talent in the current U/19s side.

It's utter trash and should be scrapped ASAP.

I don't mind the other rules too much - can take or leave the Bash Boost point and agree with you one the Power Surge (despite the stupid name)

Depends when the 100 is scored. At the start of the season where the when the teams aren't resting bowlers to make sure they're not injured for finals, it might be a little better.
