Whiteman has been tremendous. Man of the match performance provided we don't choke this away.

They won't. There is the minutest chance for Victoria, but realistically it won't happen.393 lead, 6 wickets in hand and 90 overs left minus a few for the change over
Surely WA doesn't lose it from here, surely

I would like to see a lunchtime declaration if we are still batting by then.
Some of his cover and on driving is immaculate. Looked a bit out of his depth in his first few BBL games but since then has come on very nicelyWhat a sweet shot to bring up a ton with. Well played Hardie.
I know we can win it by default by batting the entire day, but if we're still in, I would like to see a declaration with maybe 2-3 overs left in the day?
Declaring at lunch with a 450+ lead is not a sporting declaration. No chance any team is chasing that down in 60 overs. It would give us the opportunity to win outright though.I am very much in the absolutely NO declaration camp.
No need to do the Vics any favours with a sporting declaration, to set up an exciting finish.
If the Vics want to win it they need to bowl every one of our batsmen out and then chase down the runs.
If they aren’t good enough to do either, then victory is ours.
Finalists need to make it more of a focus in future. The first 2-3 days need to be played as though your sole intent is earning the BP lead, not just treating it as an afterthought. This game has demonstrated precisely why it is so important. The Vic's really should have gone the Bonus Point's win option . ...quite surprising but WA would have won anyway !!
Either way, looking like a trifecta of championships.
Hard to know if we’d win either way. If Vics got the bonus point, maybe they’d just drop anchor and bat for the draw? We might win outright now because their only option is to try and win it, so taking the 10 wickets is more likely in that scenario. Either way, looking like a trifecta of championships.
For some reason this gave me images of Shaun Marsh as the T800 at the end of The TerminatorMaxwell miscues the ball. As it rolls to the boundary, with SOS chasing, he pings a hammy. Marsh crawls after the ball on his stomach as the batsmen cross for the 14th run.
VicbiasVics bowl us out with a 400 lead.
Pucovski subbed out with concussion.

Blasts 300 off 100 balls.
Comes down to the final ball. 17 to win.

He hurls it in to the keeper, but just at that moment the sun reflects off the excavator tearing up the old grass bank, it rebounds off his gloves and goes for 4 overthrows. Victoria win the Shield.
You just know it's going to happen everyone.
