Gutrenching. Came from humble beginnings and became a colossos in his Prime.

All the best mate and I hope some time soon your foot / feet heal and you can lead a normal pain free life.

Poor bastard. Article mentions that they only other option would be to physically fuse his toes together and that might not even fix the problem.

The doctors have tried to figure out WTF is going on but can't figure it out. Must have been incredibly frustrating to miss out on a lot of the best period the Eagles have seen in over a decade.

Alongside with Matt Rosa, two of my favourite Eagles of all time. Much maligned players, who struggled with injuries, who may not have been the most incredibly talented but gave their all for the club.

Both players retiring this year at only 30 and 31, pretty young for AFL footballers really

he has played a huge part in the development of Tom Barrass. TB went from no where near AFL in 2015 to a debut later in the year. Would love him to work with TB and Rotham on the art of body work and shutting down tall forwards.

I liked too that he implied that Ezy went about it the right way, didn't negate and scrag. That he pointed out how Ezy would actually give him space rather than play shoulder to shoulder because he had lightning quick closing speed was pretty cool.

Bob had some nice words too, commenting on his 147 games and how that's criminally unfair given his talent.

Unfortunately the highlights they played of Ezy were shit.

He was definitely from the Darren Glass school of defending, but probably had a better tank which meant he could play against players like Reiwoldt who play further up the ground and rely on repeat sprints.
