BigCricket appeared on the front page of the Border Mail (Albury Wodonga Newspaper) yesterday after North Albury cricketer Dave Costello was abused on the site over alot of the CAW's balls breaking apart

Nth Albury veteran Dave Costello says he has been attacked online in the fallout over a cricket ball controversy

In August, CAW signed a contract to use sommers balls commiting to a one year deal. But the balls have since been plagued by quality issues with many of them falling apart during games

Mr Costello was the board member that suggested the league use sommers balls as a cost saving alternative. But he yesterday he said he has been unfairly targeted on bigcricket.com and had spoken to police in an attempt to clear his name

"there has been some fairly nasty allegations on bigcricket.com, i dont appreciate people saying i have commited a crime its categorically incorrect.
